How does the KScore alert system work?

The KScore alert system monitors global conflict and security events in real-time. When an issue's KScore exceeds the user's configured threshold and severity reaches a minimum level, users receive push notifications (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) for issues related to their watched countries. How often is the data updated?
